Default I need a lil help

I'm new to this site so i apologize in advance if i missed a thread that answers this already. I need to know, how do you get rid of your pet when you're a ranger?

go to Ascalon (post-sear) or to Ranger Nente (pre-sear). Just as you leave Ascalon, and just behind Nente, theres 'Jarrel the Tamer'. He will take your pet away. He's in other places too, but they're the only ones I know

Alternatively, if you dont want your pet for just that mission/quest, don't equip Charm Animal, and next time you equip it, you'll have your same old pet back.

Beat me too it. It's exactly as he says. If you really just don't want a pet, don't equip it. If you wanna get rid of him, "jarrel" does the deed.

I wouldn't recommend getting rid of your pet completely. Just un-equip it. You might need him later, and leveling up a new pet is so very boring.

All pets are basically the same...unless you want a certain type just for the look I would save it and use it as a damage taker or distraction. I usually bring mine...but I don't bring charm animal...if he dies he dies. Sometimes I feel bad and cry though...

He drowns your cat in a bag. If you have a fish/octupus pet he slaps it against a rock. If you have a bird pet he wrings it neck. If you have an iguana pet he puts it in the fridge. If you have a Monkey pet he sells it to mad german scientists. I'll add some more methods of pet 'elimination' later, after some experimentation.
Ahem,

Pet's only aggro what you click on; or what hits you. If your pet is randomly aggroing things you're doing something wrong, when running your pet always tails you as NOT to pull aggro.
